A GAME OF THRONES
日記, 英語、Game of Thrones I HAVE BEEN READING GAME OF THRONES FOR MORE THAN FOUR MONTHS. IT IS JUST SO LONG. IT HAS MORE THAN 900 PAGES, BUT IT'S OKAY BECAUSE IT IS FUN TO READ.Anyway, I read it on the train almost every day, but not everyday. It took like 25 minutes or so to go to college from my house on the train including transferring. (excluding on the bike, foot, and flying) I don't have an actual book, paper book. I have a kindle instead. And I use it only to read THE GAME OF THRONES ON THE TRAIN AND CAFE DE CRIE.
Honestly, my vocabulary is not enough to read this novel smoooooothly. There's a lot of difficult, esoteric words that I've never seen in my life. I just wanted to use the word 'esoteric' by the way. The only reason why I am writing this is just for that. I wanted to say esoteric. It is so esoteric. eso eso eso eso esssoteric.
It is a story about wars, kings, a game of thrones (literally) in medieval times, and a bit of magical world. When I started reading it, I didn't like the world that the author making because I just didn't know those words that frequently appears in kind of ancient, old, medieval, and 戦国っていう感じのもの. It means I was an idiot, as always.
But thanks to that, I got an ability to read difficult documents much easier without an effort to read dictionaries and googling some esoteric website. Although I use dictionary that already in the kindle app at least once in a day, I don't count that as reading dictionaries.
While I enjoy reading this, the fact that my reading speed is so slow makes me so mad whenever I open my kindle. I don't know why but kindle always shows the percentage of progress that how many pages I have read till now. It's so disgusting, so please don't show it again! BUT I SEE THEM BECAUSE THERE IS A PROGRESS BAR AND I LIKE PROGRESS.
I know if I read it in Japanese, which is my mother tongue by the way, I could have read all of this series three months ago. But I couldn't because i am reading it in English, WHICH IS MY SECOND LANGUAGE. I know of course my reading speed has been increasing so rapidly that I have to train muscles around my eyes to catch up with my brain. I know but it just takes soooooooo long taaaaaaime to improve the speeeeeeeed, So, COME OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON.
BUT IT'S OKAY BECAUSE IT IS FUN TO READ.
